Mailing Lists
The AFS uses three e-mailing lists for communications. Each serves a distinct purpose. The following describes the lists, their unique goals, and information on joining the lists:
- afsutd-announce@yahoogroups.com
- Description: This list is used to announce all AFS events which are open to the general public.
- Membership: Open membership. To join, send an email (message contents irrelevant) to afsutd-announce-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
- Posting: Only moderators may post to this list.
- afsutd-members@yahoogroups.com
- Description: This list is a general discussion list for AFS members.
- Membership: Closed membership. AFS members will receive an invitation to this list upon joining the organization.
- Posting: Any member of the list may post.
- afsutd-officers@yahoogroups.com
- Description: This list is used by officers to arrange the group's operations.
- Membership: Closed membership. This list is available only to officers.
- Posting: Any member of the list may post.
